Golden Spikes Award Wr Edition 🏆 

 Wow, this is an extremely exciting year for the Wr position. There are so many names that could make our Goldens Spikes award list. It’s a deep class with very high upside. I mean even JSN type upside this year. Speaking of JSN let’s start off with a year three breakout candidate. 

 Obviously Ladd McConkey needs to be mentioned first. His rookie breakout had everyone thinking his sophomore campaign was a lay up. Injuries to him and his Qb limited his effectiveness in 2025. We know the talent is there and look for Mike McDaniel to fully unlock his potential. I mean who do you think is going to get all those Achane screens? My best guess is Ladd. Look for him to have a similar route tree to Puka. His upside in PPR leagues is immense.

 Emeka Ebuka isn't a third year player, but he played a lot of ball last year. He was forced into action with injuries to the older Godwin and Evans. He started the year on fire sitting at Wr 3 after week 5. Injuries derailed his torrid start. He ended the season with a whimper. He obviously hit a rookie wall. This year however, is setting up to be similar in a lot of ways to JSN last year. Over 100 targets have been vacated with the departure of Evans and White. Similarly to how targets opened up for JSN when the alpha DK Metcalf left. They both have OSU 5 star pedigree and their games are very similar. He also has a stable Qb situation with Baker Mayfield. Ebuka has WR 1 upside at Wr 20 price. Draft him with confidence. 

  Another Wr I am very high on this year is Parker Washington. He had a reverse type season as Ebuka. He finished the season on a heater. Averaging over 20 ppr points per game. Pared with Liam Coen the offensive supernova. Parker Washington is an elite offensive player maker. He has size , speed , and quickness to get open and make plays on contested catches. Im not worried about his running mates. I think he emerges as the go to guy in Jacksonville. With a few breaks his way this season a top 12 year isn't out of the question. That is how good this guy is. His price is so cheep. Coming in around Wr 40  off draft boards. Get him late and thank me later.

 Im not going to crown or rank one of these guys over the other. However, I am looking to try and get all three in PPR formats. It may sound crazy but you could go RB RB with your first 2 picks and draft these 3 guys the next 3 rounds and you are going to have a tough team to beat.
